Built in 1847, the historic Shaker Chair Factory has been restored with love, highlighting it’s best features like the exposed wooden beams and wide window walls. This space is perfect for an indoor reception, complete with a stage, a designated dance floor, and a bar area. Holds up to 230 guests.
Outdoor Wedding Venues:
Nearby a babbling brook in the Sassafras Falls, The Ruins is a popular venue space that hosts up to 150 guests in a 200-year old barn. The ceremony and reception can be hosted here, with seated dining holding 100.

For those seeking a wedding under the wide, open sky, Hilltop Orchards provides an expansive venue. Set in the Berkshire Mountains is this historic farm, home to Furnace Brook Winery and Farm Store. This 200-achre property is perfect for a very large, tented outdoor wedding, or a more intimate, smaller wedding inside the refurbished barn (hosting up to 50 guests).
If you’re planning on renting a tent, plan to outsource because no tents are available through the venue. Come prepared, because there are no dressing rooms on site. The Venue offers rentals & equipment, so be sure to contact them to make sure everything’s in order for the big day.
The vast property sprawls across an apple orchard and various hiking/snow showing trails (dog + children friendly). At the top of the trailheads on property, you’ll reach a stunning overlook.
